| Dr. Mark A. Piper uses his special combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, training and experience to assist doctors, insurance companies and attorneys when independent medical examinations are needed to evaluate pending cases. His expertise and experience allow him to render unbiased, objective evaluations regardless of the genesis of the examination request. The first objective of an IME is to determine whether or not the patient has a maxillo-facial injury or disease. When multiple events contribute to conditions the relative significance of each incident is evaluated to determine the overall diagnosis. The examination also evaluates the long-term implications for the quality of life for the patient.
